Sprunger feels at home at helm of Adams County Boys and Girls Club
When Christen Sprunger walked into her office in Decatur as the new executive director of the Adams County Boys and Girls Club, there was a deep sense of having come home. She had been hired right out of college as unit director of the South Adams Boys and Girls Club, a position she held for five years.
"My heart is here," said Sprunger, who succeeds Michael Howell, who resigned last fall to assume responsibilities with the Huntington County Foundation.
Approximately a year and a half ago, Sprunger gave up her position at South Adams to assume the position of coordinator of South Adams' student assistance program.
