Large group of Geneva residents share storm water concerns

Geneva’s regular monthly council meeting was moved from the council room to the Town Hall assembly area on Tuesday night due to a large crowd that turned out to share their concerns about recent storm water concerns. Two groups of individuals were present in defense of their individual interests. A group of employees from the Dollar General Store were present after the Adams County Health Department found large deposits of E.coli in water coming through a pipe from Dollar General into Rainbow Lake. In addition, a large group of Rainbow Lake residents were present expressing concerns about the proposed trailhead for South Adams Trails. Many of those present emphatically argued that the combination of restrooms in the trailhead building combined with the potential of horse remains from horse and buggies parked in the trailhead parking lot could threaten the possibility of E.coli into the lake.
