Anna L. Isch, 100, of Bluffton passed away at 3:33 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2013 at Christian Care Retirement Community in Bluffton. She was born on September 3, 1912 in Adams County to Jehu and Lydia (Maller) Gerber. She was married on May 28, 1939 in Wells County to Ervin L. Isch.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.
She is survived by three sons, Charles (Linda) Isch; Stanley (Genny) Isch; and Barry (Imogene) Isch, all of Bluffton; daughter-in-law, Judy Isch of Berne; two brothers, Sylvan Gerber; and Floyd Gerber, both of Bluffton; three sisters, Leona Schwartz; Alice Schwartz; and Josephine Schwartz, all of Bluffton; 15 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on April 14, 1998; son, Donald Isch; six brothers, Gaius, Alvin, Lloyd, Edwin, Edward, and Truman Gerber; four sisters, Helen Gerber; Minnie Aschliman; Sarah Kipfer, and Dorothy Gerber; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 1 at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. funeral service on Friday, August 2 at Apostolic Christian Church East. Burial will be at Apostolic Christian Cemetery in Adams County. Officiating will be Mark Gerber and Ed Schwartz.
