Clara Lorene Weaver

Clara Lorene (Farlow) Weaver, 92, a resident of Bluffton, died at 7:35 p.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at River Terrace Estates in Bluffton.
She was born on Wednesday, June 12, 1918, in Deridder, Louisiana to Arthur and Cynthia (Thomas) Farlow. She was married on December 14, 1936, in Fort Wayne, to Merrill Weaver.
She was a graduate of Geneva High School and later attended business college before beginning her business career. She was retired from the Bank of Geneva and Phillips Petroleum of Geneva. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post #6751 Auxiliary in Geneva. She enjoyed reading and crocheting, and she wintered in Texas.
She is survived by four daughters, Carol (Clarence) Greaf of Knoxville, Tennessee; Susan (Alan) Bauman of Berne; Betty (Josef) Geisler of Fort Wayne; and Elaine Muselman of Berne; two sons, Larry (Connie) Weaver of Decatur; and David Weaver of Leo; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on August 18 1996; one son, Michael Weaver; two brothers, Dale; and Wayne Farlow; and one sister, Lillian Evans.
Visitation is from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 27 at Downing and Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva, and one hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. service on Saturday, August 28 at the funeral home. Officiating is Pastor Larry Eads. Burial will be in Backesto Cemetery in rural Berne.
