Dixie K. Henderson
Dixie K. Henderson, 70, of Silver Lake died at 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at her residence.
She was born on Saturday, September 2, 1939, in Jay County, to Henry N. and Jane (Grief) Trobridge. She was married on June 25, 1987, in Waverly, Tennessee, to Robert L. Henderson.
She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Dorenda K. (Curtis) Shackelford of Edgerton, Ohio; one son, Dennis W. (Pam) Walter of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; two stepsons, Jon R. and Kris L. Henderson, both of Wabash; two sisters, Connie S. Weil of Decatur; and Janet L. Roe of Monroe; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband John W. Walter; one brother, Robert Trobridge; and one sister, Nina J. Mock.
Visitation is from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6 at Downing and Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva, and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the 11:30 a.m. service. Officiating is Pastor Bill Keen. Burial will be in Daugherty Cemetery in Bryant.
