Edna L. Hunt, 78, of Berne passed away on Monday, January 9, 2012 at Chalet Village in Berne. She was born on February 9, 1933 in Adams County to Herbert and Eathel (Evans) Dailey. She was married on September 27, 1953 to Robert Hunt.
She was a member of the Geneva High Street United Methodist Church. She was employed at CTS Corp, Berco, and later at Parkway Restaurant. She enjoyed camping and loved her family.
She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn (James) Hicks of Berne; Brenda Hunt of Geneva; and Deborah Hunt of Portland; three sons, Stanley (Rhonda) Hunt of Willshire, Ohio; Terry Hunt of Geneva; and Robert Hunt of Berne; two sisters, Marcella (Ben) Sipe of Geneva; and Esther (Harold) Young of Bryant; brother, Dwight (Carol) Dailey of Geneva; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2002; five sisters, Mamie Bauer; Delores Sprunger; Treva Yoss; Naomi Rigby; and Betty Pugh; and three brothers, Lloyd, Donald, and Orval Dailey.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 12 and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. funeral service on Friday, January 13 at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home in Berne. Officiating will be Pastor James Bontrager. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Geneva.
