Harry W. Luginbill
Harry "Hotch" W. Luginbill, 86, of Berne passed away on Tuesday October 2, 2012 at Swiss Village in Berne. He was born on October 12, 1925 to Elmer and Hermina (Sprunger) Luginbill. He was married on December 22, 1946 to Willodyne Neuenschwander.
He was a member of the West Missionary Church, where he taught Sunday school for 20 years, was a deacon, member of the choir, and a sponsor of the youth group. He retired from Dunbar Furniture as an upholsterer for 38 years. He was a Little League coach and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. He also enjoyed fishing and bowling.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Susan (Robert) Dubach of Geneva; and Ronnette (William) Armstrong of Fort Wayne; two sons, Ronald (Sarah) Luginbill of Peru; and Gregg (Abby) Luginbill of Markle; foster daughter, Jeannie Rupp of Anderson; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three foster grandchildren; and five foster great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Stanley Luginbill; and two sisters, Bernice Stuckey; and Rowena Bauman.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 6 at Swiss Village Chapel in Berne and one hour prior to the 2:00 p.m. funeral service on Sunday, October 7 at the West Missionary Church in Berne. Officiating will be Pastor Keith Rupp. Burial will take place at the MRE Cemetery in Berne.
