Herman E. Fosnaugh
Herman E. Fosnaugh, 95, of Berne passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Swiss Village in Berne. He was born on February 15, 1917 to Clarence and Anise (Clowser) Fosnaugh. He was married on April 16, 1938 to Lura Johnston.
He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, where he was an usher for many years. He was a former employee of United Milk Corp. and later Dunbar Furniture for 31 years. He owned Automatic Woodturning Co. in his retirement years. His hobbies included woodworking at Swiss Village.
He is survived by his two sons, Corwin (Ann) Fosnaugh of Berne; and Jerry (Pat) Fosnaugh of Fort Wayne; daughter, Donna (Robert) Bockover of Riverside, California; two sisters, Glennis Fosnaugh of Bluffton; and Bonnie Gibson of Yoder; two brothers, Dale Fosnaugh of Decatur; and Roger Fosnaugh of Bluffton; six grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and two brothers, Victor and Joe Fosnaugh.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 2 at the Swiss Village Chapel in Berne. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3 at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Berne. Officiating will be Pastor Mark Harris. Burial will take place at the MRE Cemetery, Berne.
