Hubert G. Isch, 85, of Bluffton went to be with his Lord at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Bluffton Regional Medical Center. He was born on September 28, 1928 in Adams County to Joe R. and Minnie (Aeschliman) Isch. He was married on August 24, 1969 to Judy Ringger in Bluffton.
He was a graduate of Adams Central High School and a member of the Apostolic Christian Church. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1951 until 1953. He loved his Lord and family and was a lifelong farmer.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, Mary Jo (Kent) Gilliom of Bluffton; two sons, Doug (Tonia) Isch; and Greg (Katie) Isch, both of Bluffton; brother, Kenneth (Carolyne) Isch of Bluffton; four sisters, Lucile Frauhiger; Irene Neuenschwander; and Betty (Bill) Longenberger, all of Bluffton, and Viola Gerber of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; and 15 grandchildren, Connor, Koby, Breckin, and Liam Gilliom, and Ryan, Sophie, Maddie, Ellie, Carter, Kayla, Calvin, Lauren, Josie, Jada, and Thomas Isch.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Ervin Isch; Walter Isch; Alvin Isch; and Glen Isch; and one sister, Mildred Krill.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12 and from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13 at Goodwin – Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. funeral service Wednesday, May 14 at the Apostolic Christian Church East. Officiating will be Mark Gerber and Steve Ringger. Burial will be at the Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
