Janet Dague, 67, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. She was born on September 13, 1946 in Grant County to Earl and Mary (Cunningham) Lloyd. She was married on September 4, 1965 to Larry Dague.
She attended Berne elementary and high school and graduated in 1964. She worked at CTS, Economy Printing, Swiss Village and Service America. She attended First Missionary Church in Berne and had helped with the children’s class and the nursery. She enjoyed fishing and working in her flowers, and she also liked to work with silks. She was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed being with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband; son, John (Angela) Dague of Monroe; daughter, Jodi (Tom) Willeke of Decatur; granddaughter, Katie Dague; grandson, Josh Willeke; brother, Don (Anna) Lloyd of Georgia; sister, Dixie (Howard) Zuercher of Berne; four nieces; and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Chism; two nieces; and two nephews.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4 at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home in Decatur and one hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, October 5 at First Missionary Church in Berne. Officiating will be Pastor Max Haines.
Memorials may be made to First Missionary Church or the Adams County Community Foundation Diabetes Fund.
