Kae L. Sprunger
Kae Linnet Sprunger, 76, of Berne passed away on Friday, April 11, 2014 at Swiss Village. She was born on September 11, 1937 in Adams County to Vincent and Miriam (Yeoman) Sprunger.
She was a member of the First Missionary Church and was a missionary nurse to Sierra Leone, West Africa serving 27 years. She later was employed at Swiss Village in Berne. She graduated from Fort Wayne Bible College, Ball State University, and Indiana University in Indianapolis. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, sports, and singing.
She is survived by four brothers, Jon Garth Sprunger of Leonidas, Michigan; Michael (Carolyn) Sprunger of Linn Grove; Eric (Jean) Sprunger of Berne; and Jared (Jerri Hoffman) Sprunger of Fort Wayne; and two sisters, Alice Coblentz of Berne; and Rebecca Sprunger of New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Steve Sprunger.
Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16 and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. funeral service on Thursday, April 17 at the Swiss Village Chapel in Berne. Officiating will be Pastor Max Haines. Burial will be at MRECemetery in Berne.
