Lester Lee Stanley, 81, a former resident of Granbury, Texas and last resided in McKinney, Texas, died on Wednesday, July 14, 2010.
He was born on March 8, 1929, in Geneva, to Cora and Delmar Stanley.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; two sons, Rick (Barbara) Stanley of Moreno Valley, California; and Barry Stanley of New Corydon; one daughter, Tonya (Dave) Smith of Geneva; four grandsons; six great-granddaughters; three stepsons; and one step-grandson, all of Texas; and two sisters, Gloria Stringer of Granbury, Texas; and Flora (Herb) Elliot of Lumberton, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Calvin and John; and three sisters, Jean Huffman; Viola McGough; and Nema Hart.
A memorial service was held on Monday, July 19 at 12:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Granbury, Texas. A memorial service will be held locally at a later date.
