Marjorie M. Stucky

Marjorie M. Stucky, 94, of Berne passed away at 10:28 p.m. on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Swiss Village Retirement Community in Berne. She was born on August 11, 1919 in Bluffton to Henry G. and Mary (Reineck) Dotterer. She was married on October 12, 1940 in Monroe to Earl M. Stucky.
She was a 1937 graduate of Bluffton High School. She was a homemaker and assisted her family with operating the Stucky Furniture Store in Monroe for years. She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church.
She is survived by a son, Steve (Carol) Stucky of Monroe; daughter-in-law, Cathy Stucky of Monroe; sister, Caroline Lantz of Bluffton; four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband to September 20, 2011; son, Rick Stucky; and two brothers, Paul and Joe Dotterer.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27 at Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel in Bluffton and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, September 28 at Apostolic Christian Church East. Officiating will be Ron Kipfer and John Reinhard. Burial will be at Apostolic Christian Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Swiss Village Retirement Community; or the Rick Stucky Memorial Enrichment Fund that is within the Adams County Community Foundation.
