Melvin G. Schwartz of Monroe, died at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Adams Memorial Hospital.
He was born on August 21, 2010, in Adams County, to Samuel J. and Anna (Girod) Schwartz.
He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Joe G.; and Pete G. Schwartz of Monroe; maternal grandparents, Joe and Effie Girod of Michigan; paternal grandparents, Melvin and Salome Schwartz of Monroe; and his great-grandparents, Joe and Emma Schwartz of Monroe; and Reuben and Anna Girod of Michigan.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Marie Schwartz.
Funeral services were held at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 21 at the residence of Samuel J. and Anna Schwartz. Burial was in Winchester Cemetery.
Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
