Paul R. Green
Paul R. Green, 90, of Celina, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 24, 2012 at The Garden at Celina in Celina, Ohio. He was born on February 6, 1922 in Fort Recovery, Ohio to Otto and Frona (Huffman) Green. He was married in 1948 to Lois Theurer. She passed away in 1979. He was married on July 30,1989 in Fort Recovery, Ohio to Gertrude (Morningstar) Jamieson. She passed away on April 3, 1998.
He was a retired lineman for REMC in Portland. He attended St. Johns Lutheran Church in Celina.
He is survived by a son, Robert (Shirley) Green of Willshire, Ohio; daughter, Carol (Randy) Starlin of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Onnolee Bickel; and Ruth Reier, both of Fort Recvoery, Ohio; sister-in-law, Helen Green of Fort Recovery, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ed Green; and two brothers-in-law, Ernest Bickel; and Lester Reier.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28 and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. funeral service on Wednesday, August 29 at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home in Fort Recovery, Ohio. Officiating will be Rev. Douglas Meyer. Burial will take place at Spring Hill Cemetery in Fort Recovery, Ohio.
