Randall F. Culver
Randall F. Culver, 73, of Berne passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Chalet Village in Berne. He was born on October 20, 1938 in Warsaw to Kenneth and Dortha (Green) Culver. He was married on August 28, 1957 to Janice Hay.
He was a member of the Mt. Hope Church of the Nazarene, where he taught Sunday school and was a trustee. He was employed at Habegger Builders, Economy Printing, Berne Apparel, and Tyson Foods. He enjoyed woodworking, operating a ham radio and music being a member of the Edelweiss Singers.
He is survived by his mother, Rev. Dortha Culver of Tempe, Arkansas; his wife; four daughters, Carol M. (Gary) Livengood of New Haven; Catherine L. (David) Ziegenfuss of Walnutport, Pennsylvania; Carin Riley of LaPorte; and Barbara L. (Edwin) Welch of Upland; two sisters, Rosie Starkweather of Indian Lake, Michigan; and Rebecca Mahan of Tempe, Arkansas; brother, Joseph Culver of Nashville, Tennessee; eight grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his father; and great-granddaughter, Caylin Riley.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19 at Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home in Berne and one hour prior to the 1:30 p.m. funeral service on Saturday, October 20 at Mt. Hope Church of the Nazarene. Officiating will be Pastor David Boots. Burial will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
