Ray Feaster, 93, of Geneva, formerly of Jay County, passed away at 10:12 a.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Swiss Village Retirement Center in Berne. He was born on Wednesday, October 27, 1920 in Oak Town to Earl and Bertha (Hinkle) Feaster. He was married on Wednesday, June 25, 1941 in Terre Haute to Eunice Wilson.
He attended Oak Town Schools before he began farming and truck driving. Most of his life’s work was at CTS, which he retired from in 1985. In 2007, he entered Swiss Village.
He is survived by his wife of Berne; two daughters, Leota (Doug) David; and Janice Wolford, both of Geneva; son, Alfred (Linda) Feaster, Jr. of Berne; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Norman Feaster; and Estel Feaster.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21 at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, 100 N. Washington St., Geneva. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28 at the funeral home. Officiating will be Wayne Steury. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Geneva.
