Ray O. Brown
Ray O. Brown, 77, of Berne died on Friday, June 22, 2012 at his residence. He was born on August 22, 1934 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Orlan W. and Laure (Sovine) Brown.
He served in the United States Navy for 20 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post #468 in Berne and VFW Post #6236 in Decatur.
He is survived by a son, Ray Orlan Brown Jr. of Maple Valley, Washington; daughter, Anna M. Lane of Federal Way, Washington; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 29 at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home in Decatur. Graveside service will be at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, June 29 at the Ray Cemetery.
Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #468 Berne.
