Robert Daily Kaeser, SMSgt USAF (Ret), 98, of Indianapolis, died on Friday, October 5, 2012. He was born March 10, 1914 in Berne to John Fritz and Minnie Mae Martz Kaeser. He married Dorothy Margaret Rhoades on February 19, 1944.
He graduated from Wilshire High School (OH) and joined the United States Army, serving from 1931 through 1940. He then served his country in the United States Air Force from 1942 until his retirement in 1960. He then worked for Naval Avionics for 12 years, retiring in 1972 as manager of production analysis.
He was a longtime member of the Faith Presbyterian Church, he was also a member of the Millersville Masonic Lodge F. & A. M. #126; Scottish Rite, Valley of Indianapolis; and Moose Lodge #17.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years; granddaughters Haley N. (Josh) Mobley and Ashley L. (Ben) Wilbur; and two great-grandchildren, Harley Mobley and Bryceton Wilbur.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Larry R. Kaeser; two brothers and a sister.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 2:30 p.m. at Westminster Village North, 11050 Presbyterian Dr., Indianapolis.
