Robert D. Walburn, 88, of Bluffton died at 12:26 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Swiss Village in Berne. He was born on October 13, 1923 in Bluffton to Ralph D. and Chella (Lockwood) Walburn. He was married on November 27, 1949 in Bluffton to Martha Heller.
He is survived by three sons, Jim (Lora) Walburn of Bluffton; David (Tori) Walburn of Fort Wayne; and Rich Walburn of Ossian; three daughters, Becky (Robert) Schwartz; and Connie (Dr. Mike) Graham, both of Bluffton; and Carol (Tim) Timmons of Monroe; and two brothers, Roger (Marcia) Walburn; and Ronald (Rochelle) Walburn, both of Bluffton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife on February 12, 1992.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15 and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. funeral service on Thursday, February 16 at Goodwin Memorial Chapel in Bluffton. Officiating will be Tim Timmons. Burial will take place at Six Mile Cemetery in Bluffton.
