Roy D. Bieberich
Roy D. Bieberich, 88, a lifelong resident of Decatur, died on Monday evening, August 9, 2010 at Woodcrest Nursing Center.
He was born on March 27, 1922, in Adams County, to Lorance and Naomi F. (Arnold) Bieberich. He was married on October 29, 1944 to Phyllis M. Kolter.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Dennis (Melanie) Bieberich of Decatur; and Steven (Debra) Bieberich of Noblesville; one daughter, Mrs. Karen (Cliff) Ambler of Anderson; one sister, Mrs. Helen (Richard) Conrad of Decatur; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, including Virgene (Mrs. Harry) Bowers and Marjorie Walters.
Visitation is from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 12 at Haggard and Sefton Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. service on Friday, August 13 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. Officiating is Rev. Michael Heinbaugh. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery.
