Stephen U. Girod
Infant Stephen U. Girod, 12 days old, of Geneva died at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born on Saturday, August 7, 2010, in Adams County, to Nathan and MaryAnn S. Girod of Geneva.
He is survived by his parents; four brothers, Samuel U.; Reuben U.; Nathan U.; and William U. Girod, all of Geneva; three sisters, Miriam U.; Ruth U.; and Rose U.; all of Geneva; maternal grandparents, Samuel E. and Salome Girod of Geneva; maternal great-grandfather, Enos S.Girod of Monroe; paternal grandparents Reuben and Emma Girod of Berne; Paternal great-grandparents Emma Girod of Berne; and MaryAnn Schwartz of Geneva.
Visitation is from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20 at the Girod residence, 9658 South CR 50 East in Geneva. Funeral services will be at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 21 at the residence. Officiating is Bishop David Girod.
Downing and Glancy Funeral Home in Geneva is in charge of arrangements.
