Vera A. Reinhard
Vera A. Reinhard, 88, of Fort Wayne passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Covington Manor. She was born on February 23, 1924 in Berne to Cyrus and Katherine (Steiner) Lehman.
She was a customer service representative and teller at People’s Trust until her retirement in 1990. She was a member of New Day Ministries. She volunteered in the gift shop at Lutheran Hospital and was active with church trips. She enjoyed crocheting afghans and blankets.
She is survived by two daughters, Carol (Robert) Wolf of Louisville; and Kay (Randy) Hooten of Churubusco; two sons, Ron (Val) Reinhard of New Haven; and Bruce Reinhard of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ennis Reinhard in 1992; and two brothers, Wilmer “Cy” and Ornell Lehman.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the 11:00 a.m. funeral service on Saturday, July 7 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Ft. Wayne, IN 46809. Burial will take at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
