ACAC extends membership offer to Jay County
Without a conference home since 2010, Jay County is suddenly the toast of the town with two offers to join conferences after the Allen County Athletic Conference voted to extend a membership offer to the Patriots Thursday.
Already holding an offer the join the North Central Conference, Jay County will take the proposals to its school board and will likely make a move to join a league very soon. Seeing that it was Jay County that prompted the discussion of their addition to the ACAC, it’s very likely that they will become a ninth member of the ACAC at their next board meeting with membership beginning in the 2014-15 school year.
