Over an hour storm delay on Saturday night gave Adams Central enough time to regroup for a second half comeback to spoil the South Adams homecoming, 19-7, on Friday evening.
For the second time this month, teams were sent to the school when lightning began to flash late in the second half. Shortly after 9:30, the teams took the soggy field to resume a hard fought rivalry between the two schools and head coach Jason Arnold of South Adams and Michael Mosser of Adams Central. In the end, Mosser was able to break an Arnold win string for his first win in his career against the SA mentor.
