Adams Central turned on the power early to dominate Union City 86-25 at home Tuesday evening in varsity boys’ basketball. The Jets put on a show with plays that head coach Aaron McClure referred to as, "enjoyable to the crowd," connecting on 13 3-point shots and slamming three dunks along the way.
The Jets connected on 28 of 47 field goals for 59 percent shooting; including 13 of 23 from behind the arc en route to the big win. In addition, the local squad connected on 17 of 25 from the free throw line, hauled down 30 rebounds, snatched 13 steals and was assessed with only 12 turnovers for the game.
