INDIANAPOLIS – Given the competition he thought he would face, South Adams senior Todd Batt was thinking top four, not wrestling under the lights for a state championship.
But things started to get interesting in the quarterfinals, and Batt knew something special was in the works.
Batt breezed by Ben Davis junior Levi Moss 8-2, and then Alexandria junior Luke Blanton upset defending 130-pound state champion Neal Malloy of Danville.
