Bellmont sinks Central swimmers
Tyler SipeBellmont cruised to a pair of easy wins at Adams Central Thursday night, taking the girls’ half of the meet 120-60 and the boys’ side of things 136-42.
Central was limited to just three wins in the meet – all in girls individual events. Ali McClain claimed two of those, winning the 50 yard freestyle in 27.29 seconds and the 100 yard butterfly in 1:06.7.
Whittney Landis claimed the 100 yard breaststroke for the Jets in 1:15.42.
Bellmont’s girls won all three relays, taking the 200 medley in 2:06.37, the 200 free in 1:51.68 and the 400 free in 4:07.27.
