Bi-County title stays with Starfires
With three of the top eight pairings and an overall team time of 1 hour, 37 minutes, 11 seconds, South Adams held onto the Bi-County cross country title Tuesday night during the conditioner meet at Bellmont.
It was the fourth straight year South Adams has won the Bi-County meet, a relay event that pairs runners together and they take turns running a one-mile loop covering a total of six miles.
Norwell was second in the boys’ meet in 1:39.22, Bellmont third in 1:41.19, Bluffton fourth in 1:47.09, Adams Central fifth in 1:49.37 and Southern Wells sixth in 1:55.41.
