Black’s big night helps Jets by Parkway
Adams Central fought off a Parkway late game rally by Parkway to defeat their Ohio counterparts with a 56-51 win in Monroe Saturday. The win was the second of the weekend and aided the Flying Jets in moving out to a 3-1 record in early season boys’ varsity basketball.
“When our shots aren’t going in the way we would like, these guys still find a way to come out and get the job done,” said Adams Central head coach Aaron McClure.
Adams Central moved out to a 44-36 lead at the end of the third stanza. Isaac Luginbill scored two of his 16 points at the beginning of the fourth quarter to give the local squad a 10-point 46-36 advantage.
