Braves too much for Starfires
Sixteenth-ranked Bellmont brought its “A” game to the Stardome Tuesday night and put a 63-12 hurting on South Adams in a meeting between county and sectional rivals.
The Braves wasted little time taking control with two early pins and were never threatened in the team scoring the entire night.
“They only had two freshmen in their lineup and one of them is all-world,” said South Adams coach Barry Humble. “We had six freshmen plus a couple other first year wrestlers so we were overmatched. We gave up way too many cradles and way too many falls.”
