Busco buzzes past South Adams
The final score says 42-27, but that hardly illustrates the frustration South Adams had to deal with Tuesday night as it lost to Churubusco in the opening round of the IHSAA Adams Central Class 2A girls’ basketball sectional.
The Starfires (3-18) struggled from the field, were hampered by foul trouble all night, and when they finally got a little momentum going their way they were no where near being in a position to overcome everything that had gone wrong to that point.
Churubusco (7-14) held South Adams to two first half field goals, opened the game up with a 12-0 run, and led by as many as 22 points on a couple of occasions.
