Canterbury tops South Adams
South Adams gave led Canterbury 2-1 in varsity girls’ volleyball Thursday night at the Stardome, but gave up two straight sets to finish the match and lost 3-2 to the Cavaliers. The loss drops the Starfires to 0-2.
“I feel we improved from Monday night’s game against Blackford, however it was a disappointing loss,” said first-year South Adams coach Amie Sprunger. “We had several high points. We had very aggressive serving, and I am proud of that. We continued to struggle with communicating to each other at times, but we had several girls step it up tonight and be vocal leaders.”
