Central boys claim own invitational title
Thany FiechterAlex Reinhard scored a pair of wins and led Adams Central to an easy victory in the second annual Adams Central track and field invitational Friday night in Monroe.
The Jets tallied 153 points, easily outdistancing second place Fremont with 92.5. Southern Wells was third with 91 points; Monroe Central fourth with 56.5; Canterbury fifth with 56; and Daleville sixth with 1.
Fremont took the girls’ team title with 131.5 points. Monroe Central was second with 81.5 points, followed by Southern Wells with 78, Adams Central with 59, Canterbury with 56 and Daleville with 45.
