Adams Central established a second half lead over Blackhawk Christian Tuesday night at home and went on to roll over the Braves, 62-54, in varsity boys’ basketball.
Adams Central led 19-17 at the first stop but Blackhawk outscored the Jets, 9-7, in the second stanza to deadlock the game, 19-19, at the halfway point.
Central scoring ace Dalton Combs came out on fire at the start of the second half, completing a 3-point play and then scoring a 2-pointer to give the Jets a quick 24-19 lead early in the third quarter.
