Central ends Bellmont run of dominance
Adams Central has made it a rivalry again.
With Kaine Luginbill’s come-from-behind win by fall at 160 pounds over Bellmont’s Brett Baker, the Jets had the momentum they needed to score a 41-26 victory over the Braves Tuesday night in Decatur. It was Adams Central’s first win over Bellmont in over 20 years, and just the fourth win for the Jets in the all-time series with the Braves.
Luginbill’s win finished a run of four straight wins from 138 pounds to 160 that saw the Jets go from trailing by three to leading by 13.
