Central netters improve to 4-1Chelsea Selking

Adams Central ran its varsity girls’ tennis record to 4-1 with a 4-1 win over Churubusco Thursday night in Monroe.
The Jets swept the singles competition, getting easy straight sets wins at each position. Chelsea Selking netted a 6-0, 6-0 victory at number one; Lauren Harvey won 6-1, 6-0; and Alisen Barger scored a 6-1, 6-1 triumph.
Katie Johnson and Amy Goulet completed the Central victory with a 6-0, 6-0 victory at number one doubles. Ashley Biberstine and Madison Johnson lost a 6-3, 6-2 decision at number two doubles for the Jets.
