OSSIAN – Having been in a sectional championship match three years in a row, Adams Central entered its final match at the Norwell Sectional with a bit of trepidation.
“We were kind of expecting the worst,” Central coach Mike Hower said. “It’s not that we’re pessimists, but we were taking that approach so nothing would get us down.”
A tough semi-final match with Bluffton nearly took the Jets out, but they persevered, winning 3-2, and then took out South Adams 5-0 in the championship.
