Alexa Baller scampered home from first base on a two-out double to left by Bess Fiechter and Adams Central scored a 3-2 upset win over Woodlan in varsity softball Tuesday night in Monroe. The win raises Central’s record to 6-1. The Lady Jets are now alone in first place in the Allen County Athletic Conference as the league’s only unbeaten team at 2-0.
Fiechter finished the contest 2-for-4 at the plate. The Jets also got an RBI triple from Olivia Macklin. Lindsey McDougall singled and drove in a run.
