Central takes two from South Adams
Adams Central kept its slim conference championship hopes alive Thursday night with a 7-1 win over the visiting South Adams varsity softball team in the first game of a doubleheader, but now must wait for the outcome of the Woodlan at South Adams contest Friday to determine whether or not they share the Allen County Athletic Conference title or settle for second place.
Central (11-4, 5-2 ACAC) also took the second game of the doubleheader 10-0 in five innings as the two teams were making up a game that was rained out back in early April.
