Conference cross country season winding down
With a pair of meets on county soil Tuesday night, the Leo girls and South Adams boys moved closer to clinching the round robin portion of the Allen County Athletic Conference cross country championships.
Leo’s girls took out Adams Central 17-38 in a meet held in Monroe, while the Starfire boys beat Heritage 15-50 and an incomplete Bluffton squad. Adams Central’s boys lost to Leo 19-36, while the South Adams girls beat Bluffton 17-42 and Heritage 17-45.
Leo will travel to Woodlan next Tuesday to face the Warriors and Heritage, while South Adams makes the trip to Garrett along with Adams Central on the final day of the round robin schedule. The ACAC championship meet is the...
