Peterson Grain 17, Bank of Geneva 8
Peterson Grain unloaded 11 runs over its final three trips to the plate and harvested a 17-8 victory over the Bank of Geneva Thursday night on the Monroe Little League circuit at Don Ray Park. Grain trailed 7-6 after two innings.
Tucker Miller hit a home run and two doubles for Peterson. Drew Hammond had a double, single and three RBI. Jalen Hammond and Austin Butler both doubled and hit two singles. Justin VanOver doubled and singled, and Matt Baker doubled. Drew Hammond threw two innings of one-run, one-hit relief and got the win on the mound, striking out three and walking two. Miller and Baker also pitched.
