Early momentum carries Bellmont by Jets
Bellmont hit Adams Central with three early wins in three swing matches, including an evening opening pin by Jon Poling at 113 pounds, and rode that wave of momentum to a 36-18 victory over the Jets in wrestling Tuesday night in Monroe.
The No. 17 ranked Braves improved to 16-2 with the victory. Adams Central slips to 18-2, having lost two in a row against teams ranked in the top 20 in the state.
