Farlow breaks record in first meet
Cady Farlow created a stir several times as a middle school swimmer, repeatedly topping performances posted on the South Adams swimming record board. However, that record board showcases only high school performances, so Farlow would have to wait to replace them.
Not any longer.
In her first high school meet, the freshman phenom blasted South Adamsâ€™ 100-yard breaststroke record (held by Ashley Koons) by more than three seconds, setting a new mark of 1:10.82 with a first place finish in the Norwell Invitational Saturday morning.
