Forfeits doom Starfires in invitational
South Adams coach Barry Humble wasn’t going to let Saturday’s 2-3 showing in the Spencer Haworth Invitational get him down.
The silver-haired coach saw a silver lining in his team’s performance, one that provided thought that last Thursday’s 51-15 shellacking at Garrett may have been nothing more than a bump in the road.
“My ten that wrestled beat everybody else’s ten, so that part was good,” said Humble after his team’s showing Saturday at the Stardome. “If we can fill some of these holes, we’re going to be okay.”
