With a short lineup, weakened by injuries and a good deal of inexperience, South Adams coach Eric Myers decided to play a little roulette with his lineup going against top-ranked (1A) Adams Central Thursday night, and he didn’t get the outcome he was seeking.
Buoyed by 18 forfeit points, the Jets doubled up the Starfires 46-23 to take the annual meeting between Allen County Athletic Conference wrestling rivals, and now, with a little help, the two teams remain alive in the chase for a round robin conference championship.
