Jets hang on for comeback win
Alex Byerly turned a bad into a good and buried the game winning free throw immediately after, helping Adams Central to a 53-52 victory over Southwood Tuesday night at the Hangar.
Corey Phillipy had just buried a 3-point shot for Southwood, tying the score at 52, and Byerly was trying to get the ball across mid-court for the Jets. He made it across the ten-second line, but Ross Phillipy was waiting and knocked the ball away from the Central senior.
