Jets reel in second straight ACAC crown

Adams Central left little doubt as it went for its second straight ACAC boys’ tennis title Monday night, dismantling Bluffton 5-0 and winning all five games in straight sets.
“Great all around effort,” said Central coach Mike Hower. “Our guys played well and are peaking at the right time. We are excited about the individual conference tourneyt his weekend and the sectional the next weekend.”
The Jets, now 12-4 (3-0 in the ACAC), got a 6-2, 6-0 victory out of number one singles player Nathan Barger. Kam Fiechter added a 6-0, 6-2 win at number two singles, and Tyler Sipe claimed a 6-4, 6-3 win at number three singles.
