Jets run out of time in 21-12 loss to Garrett
In a game that started at 7 p.m. on Friday and ended at 4 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, the Adams Central Jets couldn't quite pull off a come-from-behind win as they dropped a 21-12 loss to Garrett at home.
The Jets fell behind 21-0 in the first half on Friday night as a light rain turned into a deluge and eventually a thunderstorm, forcing the game to be suspended and resumed at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
And although the Jets came alive to score two touchdowns in the fourth stanza, they weren't able to solve the Railroader defense to make the entire journey back.
