Kaehr breaks two records in AC victory
Adams Central freshman Gavin Kaehr broke two school records and led the Jets to a 111-61 victory over South Adams in varsity boys swimming Tuesday night in Berne.
Kaehr set a new mark in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:18.40 and in the 100-yard butterfly in 59.0 seconds, winning both events for the Jets (1-0). He was also part of two winning relay teams for Central, joining Jacob Weil, Dylan Krueger and Ellison Kaehr to win the 200-yard medley relay in 1:52.32, and with Kaehr, Brey Reidenbach and Eli Stoller to win the 200-yard free relay in 1:39.63.
Central also took the 400-yard free relay as Stoller, Reidenbach, Weil and Krueger posted a 4:11.36.
